Information on hair loss and hair transplantation
- From the temple backwards
- Opening in front of the upper part of the head
- A wide area of hair in front of the upper area and sides.
In contrast to the usual stages of hair loss, cases of hair loss can be observed.
In classifying these levels, the 7-step Norwood-Hamilton Scale is most commonly used. The number of hair roots is calculated according to this.
Norwood-Hamilton Scale:
The most effective and only permanent solution for permanent hair loss is hair transplantation. Hair transplantation is the process of transplanting hair follicles from the donor area (hair donor), usually in the hair area where the hair is most intense. It is important to note that the number of hair follicles taken from the donor site is the number of grafts. There may be 2 or 3 hair strands in a graft: In hair transplantation, hair follicles (grafts) containing hair strands (not the hair strands) are transplanted.
In some individuals, rarely due to the lack of a sufficient graft in the donor area, grafts can be taken from some parts of the body, e.g. from the breast area. However, we do not recommend this procedure as it may lead to negative results, e.g. incompatibility and undesirable phenomena in the area. Before starting hair transplantation, the most important thing is the condition of the recess and protrusion of the front hairline.
After 20 days, there is usually a phase called “shock falling out”. All transplanted hairs fall out during the healing phase due to physiological reactions with the scalp crusting. The shock overflow phase can vary from person to person. The earlier the phase starts, the more beneficial the person is at the time. The new hair grows permanently from the roots and the transition to the natural process begins.
